How To: Additional Tips During Meditation

  • Consistency is key.
    • Trying to live a BALANCED life instead of trying this new trend for a few weeks, getting bored then moving on to something else will not establish a relationship with yourself and your sacred routine will fall to the wayside just like everything else that you’ve tried in your life.
    • Give this a valiant effort for at least 30 days and then decide if it’s right for you.

  • The more you practice meditation, the easier it will be to calm your mind during meditation and also this feeling of calm and peace will translate repetitively throughout the day.
  • Don’t add pressure or too much worry about feeling a certain way during or after and remember the more often you practice meditation the easier it becomes to feel the warm and fuzzy feelings
  • Try to remove any stimulation on your body ex tight uncomfortable clothing, loud noises, potential disruptions, etc etc. You want to try to “detach” from any distraction
  • Before you begin, you will want to try to calm your mind as much as possible. – detach from your physical body and be as spiritually driven as possible.
  • Try to think as many positive, loving thoughts during meditation. Anything you are grateful or thankful for.
  • With that being said, if you have trouble with constipation or diarrhea, this will allow your body to approach the day gently, and have some time to get rid of the waste in your bowels that you were detoxing all night. (This will also help with acne if you struggled with this as well because if the toxins are removed from the bowels, and urine, then the skin will remove the toxins through acne blemishes.)
