5 things to be grateful for

Pump yourself back up after being in a “scary” place. When we have and experience big emotions, the rollercoaster has to come back down from the high or the emotion and therefore we tend to plummet into a bit of a hole. The only way to get out of that hole is by lifting yourself up with gratitude. They say that it takes 5 positive things to negate the effects from 1 negative.

Write 5 things that you are grateful for in your journal. Don’t work too hard on finding big things to be grateful for – start small: you’re grateful for your home, your warm blankets, your dog’s kisses, a hot cup of coffee every morning, your car for starting every morning. How do you feel now?
